So, as mentioned last time, I'm gradually moving things off of here. I'll be keeping some bits and pieces, like my writings, but anything that's art based like commissions are going to be held on my Tumblr account. You can find that one here, with a mix of thoughts, details, art pieces, and everything in-between. I'll still be uploading commissions onto here, but there's going to be a catch. Each is going to be defaced or warped. Or possibly have a potato inserted over them. I don't trust the DeviantArt staff not to pull another abrupt turn and decide to go full AI again. So, in order to best screw with things if they do, they'll be done, tagged as normal and all, that, but with a link to the proper one posted on Tumblr. Yeah, it's not a perfect solution exactly, but it's the best I've got.

Good afternoon everyone, I think it's time we had a quick talk. You might have noticed that DeviantArt made a huge error yesterday. Well, that's the polite way of putting it. Personally I'd call it a rush of crap to the brain followed by a botched foot surgery with a shotgun, at least without resorting to insults and profanities. The point is that they've jumped on the AI art bandwagon, and they didn't seem to pick up on just how much artists dislike that fact. We've already seen a lot of big names running, and I can't exactly blame them. Who would trust DeviantArt after a knife to the back like that, even with belated attempts to fix things afterward? Well, this doesn't affect me all that much. I'm a writer for the most part, and a props maker in other regards. The only times I cross over with digital art tends to be either when I work with stick men, or I post art I've commissioned. So, I'm going to stick around for a while yet. With that said, I am going to be looking into

This is something I am reposting from :iconswfc: - I have been notified that there is an individual on dART that is apparently taking close up images from other artists and trying to pass it off as their own in NFTs and subscription images while keeping the proceeds for themselves. I myself have not seen this in action, but the individual who mentioned it has also commented two artists have caught'em and were able to get their work removed. I have looked at the user in question, and they seem to have a lot of Bare Squadron work in their gallery. I don't follow much of that material/content, so if you have created any artwork for that, you may want to view the user's gallery and verify if there is anything amiss. Note: I'm not saying go after 'em with flaming torches and pitchforks (or with a pack of angry Wookiees, whichever suits your fancy for mob violence), just review what's present, and make sure for yourself. If there's nothing amiss, then all is well.
